Description Show All
Kharivas is a Golden Eagle anthro with a lithe, athletic build, much like that of a runner. His plumage is mostly dark brown, but between his wings and on the nape of his neck is the streak of gold that gives his species its name, and lighter-hued, sandy-brown feathers run down his front side, from chest to groin. He does not bother to wear clothes, but the thick feathers on his groin keep anyone from seeing his naughty bits. On the other side, though, his rump is covered only by his tailfeathers, which do little to hide its tight, finely-muscled curvature.
His facial features are sharp - being a bird of prey, there's no way around it - but there is almost always a warm, friendly gaze in his golden eyes, and a smile on his beak. Likewise, his hands and feet are four-digit, raptorial talons, but he is very precise with them - they only inflict pain when he wants them to. Topping off his appearance is his broad wingspan, which is nothing short of impressive and puts some small aircraft to shame when fully spread, but at most times, he keeps them folded against his back or wrapped around his body.
Personality
D&D Alignment: Chaotic Good
Kharivas is generally friendly and eager to help anyone in need, but he is also fiercely independent. No one may own him or command his allegiance. Anyone who tries to do so is asking for a beating, or worse.
He lives in the outdoors and wilderness and prides himself for being entirely self-sufficient; he has mastered hunting, cooking, first aid, herbalism, and so on.
He refers to himself as "a predator, a natural born killer," and this violent side shows itself when someone makes an attempt on his life... which is much more often than he would like it to be. Many lives have ended by his bare hands. Not an act he enjoys committing, just one he feels is necessary.
